Ashido is a filler character that was mentioned that it was supposed to be in the manga,but then changed his mind,so basically people are saying he is ANIME CANNON character,so yea he basically is IRRELEVANT,witch our good friend kept it SHORT. So yea,he is Cool and whatever,but sadly he does not contribute to the main story at all,he is basically gap closer to the anime.
